Photo-exhibition "Give back while travelling" in the State Darwin Museum
From 30 September to 23 November 2017, the State Darwin Museum hosts an exhibition of the best works from the First International Photo and Video Contest "Give back while travelling". The contest, organized by the International Center for Responsible Tourism (RF and CIS) in conjunction with the State Darwin Museum, was held from 8 November 2016 to 30 August 2017.
The purpose of the competition is to show what socially responsible tourism is, to encourage travelers to make a personal contribution to the development of the regions, and to promote principles of respect for the environment, a cultural heritage and tourist attraction through the art of photography.
More than 500 participants from many regions of Russia and abroad took part in the competition. The most popular were photos from the Altai Territory, the Arkhangelsk and Pskov Regions, the Komi Republic, the Irkutsk Region, as well as from Estonia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
This year works were distributed according to the following nominations: "People and nature, volunteer routine", "Reviving heritage", "Orthodox Russia", "Talking souvenir", "Professions that help us travel", "Renaissance of the village", "City trip: present, past, future", "Russia through the eyes of foreigners", "Seasons responsible tourism". During the exhibition, an online voting will be open, which will determine the best works in the "Audience Choice Award" nomination. The participants of the competition will receive honorary diplomas, as well as various prizes.
